Christmas Card Picture Time!

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I decided turn my favorite hobby into a little side business! I am going to start taking pictures for anyone who is interested! I love having new, fun, creative pictures to hang on my walls of Wes and our family but I hate paying for them because it's always so expensive. I took my sister's family pictures last year for her Christmas cards and they turned out so great that everyone kept telling me that I should really start doing this on the side but I just never did it. So here goes, I am available to do anytime of the week that works good for your schedule and I will take as many pictures as you would like. I will place all your photos on a disc and give you the copy right so you are able to print off as many as you would like and enlarge any that you would like. My fee for now is $50 for a session that will include your disc. Leave me a comment or you can contact me at 480-240-0572 to set up an appointment! Thanks, Ashlee

It's been a while!

Hi everyone! I have been really bad about posting lately, actually I am always pretty bad about posting! Sorry, I know my blog is pretty boring. Anyways, we have had so much fun these last few months. It was Wesley's birthday, he turned 2 on September 2nd and we had a fun Birthday party with all his friends. We went camping with the Rooney's, it was so much fun! Wes loves being outdoors and playing in the dirt. He also loves the Rooney girls, Ryanne and Bentlee are some of his best friends! Then at the beginning of this month Wes and I went to Playhouse Disney live with Stacey and Caden and Cadie and Danny. I have never seen Wes so happy! He got spoiled and was amazed by Rocket and all the other characters. It was definitely a time I will always remember. Just this past week it was Eric's birthday, he had to work and it was a long day so we didn't so too much but he said he had a good day. Wes and I met him for lunch so it was nice to be able to see him in the middle of the day! I hope you have a great year being 27 babe, I love you! As far as everything in between all the fun, I am just getting bigger and bigger everyday.
I am 18 weeks and still at that not fun stage where if you don't really know me and see me you would probably just think I have a chunky belly. I think I would rather have my belly be really big so that at least people knew I was pregnant not just needing to loose a few pounds. Well I hope all our family and friends are doing great and having fun! I'll try to be better about posting!

Guess What????

I know most of you have heard by now but.....we are expecting baby #2! Wes is so excited to be a big brother soon and always says he wants a sister! Eric and I are so excited to be having another baby and can't wait for March. This pregnancy is already going by so much faster than my pregnancy with Wes. I was pretty sick for the past few weeks but I am feeling so much better now and I am so excited to enjoy the next 6 months of being pregnant!

Too Many NYC Pictures!

The Dwiggi's in NYC!

In front of NBC Studios

Sams Pizza in Patterson NJ

Time Square

Shea Stadium

Yankee Stadium

The view of Manhattan from our hotel room

Warning: Very Long Post! I have to apologize in advanced for this long post with so many pictures! If you can't tell I was way excited for this vacation and took way too many pictures(417 to be exact!). Don't worry I won't post them all and I am sorry to all our family who logged on to snap fish to view them because Eric did not erase any of them before he posted them there! So anyways, Eric, Wesley and I boarded a plane to JFK on Thursday May 22nd to spend a week having fun in New York and New Jersey. Originally Eric just wanted to go for the weekend to watch a Yankees and a Mets game since this is their last year at their current stadiums and he wanted Wes to be able to brag to all his friends when he grows up that he went to Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium, but of course I wanted some time to shop while we were there! Just kidding(kinda), I also really wanted to see New Jersey because that is where Eric served his mission and I have always wanted to go there and see where he lived and the chapels he attended and basically put a picture with all his funny stories he has told me. So off went to fulfill Eric's desire to go to the games and mine to see his mission and explore Manhattan! We spent the first night driving around the city and some of New Jersey and then getting checked in at the hotel, Eric flirted with the girl at the desk and got us into the private floor of the hotel for preferred guests only and I am glad he did because our view was amazing! The next day we spent in the city walking around everywhere and figuring out exactly what we wanted to do while we were there. The next day we spent the day in New Jersey going to all the areas Eric served in and seeing all the houses he lived in, it was really interesting to say the least to see some of the streets he would walk down! Eric's big surprise that day was that his favorite companion he ever had on the mission flew to New Jersey to surprise him at Banana King, yes you guessed it, Brian and Ginger Starkes flew in for the week as well! It was so fun to see them and be able to take a picture of the boys in front of the house they lived in together on the mission. We also were able to go with them to get a piece of pizza at Sam's, "The Best Pizza in the World" I have always heard and it was good! We spent a majority of our time we had left in Manhattan and at the baseball games, there is so much to do in the city that we would get up in the mornings and drive over to the city and park the car and leave it there all day and not get back to the hotel until 11pm or so every night! Wes had so much fun going to every toy store there was and to the Central Park Zoo, but I think he had the most fun on the Navy Ship with his Daddy! The whole trip was the most fun I have ever had in my life and it was so special to spend a full week with just my boys! I begged Eric to please let us move there, even if it was just for a few months so that I could take Wes to Central Park everyday! I am so grateful to have gone and I will never forget it, especially when I have 417 pictures to remind me of it!

Tagged:

First of all thanks Ali for the tag and the subtle hint that I need to post more often! I have been tagged before but I have never done it so here goes!
How to play this game. Post these rules on your blog; List 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names.

3 Joys: 1. Watching movies late at night with my wonderful husband after we put Wes to sleep. 2. Tanning, I have found that I really like to go to the tanning bed because it is so relaxing to lay there and do nothing for 15 minutes. 3. Watching Wes play with his toys, especially his "Cho, Cho" he will push his trains all over the house all day and he is so stinkin cute when he does it and that bring me a lot of Joy!

3 Fears: 1. I have a huge fear of Scorpions! We have only ever seen one in our house and that was almost two years ago and Eric is convinced that the bug guys planted it in our house! I shake out our sheets every night because I am so scared of getting stung! 2. Something happening to my boys! 3. I am terrified of spending the night at my house by myself, I won't do it so when Eric goes out of town I either have someone come stay with me or I go to Stacey's!

3 Goals: 1. To exercise and get a tone body! 2. Plan a trip to Hawaii with just Eric and I in the next 6 months. 3. Finish decorating my house, my house needs so much more help in that department!

3 Current Obsessions/Collections: 1. Calorie counting, I hate it but it is necessary! 2. Picture taking, I want so bad to be good at taking pictures so I take hundreds and beg Eric for one of those big cameras to try and become a mommy photographer! 3. Shopping, I think it is a ongoing obsession that I have a feeling will never go away!

3 Random Facts: 1. When I was born I was premature and I almost died. 2. I recently discovered that I think I have a little OCD, I have been noticing that I do a lot of things in a exact routine and when I don't I can't relax until I do. Like getting ready for bed at night I have to wash my face, brush my teeth, put my hair in a pony tail, take a drink of water, put chap stick on, use the bathroom, check on Wes, shake out my sheets, lay with a pillow between my knees and then finally I can go to sleep! If I don't do one of those things I literally can not go to sleep until I get up and do it. 3. I love to doodle, when i sit down to write out some ideas I have for work I find my self doodling on the side of the page. It actually helps to clear my head from everyday things and I always end up coming up with good ideas for work when I doodle.

Day at the Track!

Yesterday Wes and I went up to the motorcross track to watch Eric ride. Eric has been ridding his dirt bike a lot more lately but he's been going out to the Surprise Track so Wes and I haven't been able to see him. He went out with some guys to the track down the street from our house so we were able to go this time. Wes was so excited when we got there to see all the dirt bikes, he kept saying "mom bike", he loves Eric's dirt bike! He wants to sit on it every time we go into the garage. It was so fun to watch Eric ride, he is getting really good and he is so cute in all his ridding gear! Wes sat on my lap and watched Eric go around the track and would yell "go, go, go" as he waved his fist in the air. Wes and Eric have become best friends lately, Wes insists on following Eric around the house and if Eric even thinks he is going to go into the garage without Wes, he is wrong! Wes loves his Daddy and I have a feeling this preference for Eric is only going to get stronger as Wes gets older. It was such a blast to be out at the track and watch Eric show off his skills! I am looking forward to more Saturday mornings like that.

Check out my Slide Show!

Catching Up!

April came and went so fast! We had a fun April and I want to post so many pictures from this month but that would be a really long post so I am going to add them all to a slide show. At the beginning of this month Wes got the stomach flu and it was his first time he has thrown up and it was awful! He was so sick and he was not allowed to have anything to drink or eat for an entire day! It was so sad, he would follow us around and say "I want Juice!" and cry and then I would start crying. There are some pictures in the slide show of him when he was sick and his eyes looked so big. We were so happy to celebrate Aunt Kaitlyn's birthday by going bowling. It was so much fun, Wes loved to help bowl and was very sad when it was time to go. Last weekend we went up to Heber to celebrate little Eric's 1st Birthday. We had a blast playing with little Eric and enjoyed the nice cool weather. Wes never wanted to come inside! Little Eric is getting really big, he is already taking a few steps and eats everything he see's. Last week I took Wes to the new San Tan Mall and met some friends there and let the kids play in the new splash zone. It was so cute to watch them run around and splash each other. We have had a really great month and are looking forward to this one!

Wesley's first Day in Nursery

This post is a little over due, Wes's first day at Nursery was the 1st Sunday of this month and he looked so cute! Eric took him and dropped him off and he didn't even cry, until he got his fingers smashed in the door! I was walking by and went in and grabed him and of course he did not go back that day. Wes has cried for the first five minutes the past two weeks but once the treats come out he is just fine! Eric and I are big fans of Nursery, well mostly Eric because he is the one who had to walk the halls before. Our little baby is a big boy now and on to fighting with kids at Nursery!

Wes=Laughter

Hi Everyone, sorry it had been so long since I have posted anything! It's been a pretty busy month. Well I am at home right now with Wes and he is not feeling very good, he has that awful flu that is going around. Anyways, I was sitting on the couch just holding him as if he were a little baby and I thought about how it seemed like yesterday that he was a little baby. It hits me almost everyday that he is getting so big but I don't think I realized just how fast it has gone by until tonight. I am trying not to sound like the mom that wants her little baby back because honestly I think I enjoy each stage he goes through more and more. I guess I just wanted to tell any new moms out there to do just that, enjoy every stage because with the blink of an eye they change. As much as I don't want Wes to be sick I have enjoyed all the cuddling and what a Mommy's boy he has been. He is so sweet, last night he woke up in the middle of the night and was really sad so I went into his room to rock him and he wanted me to hold him like a little baby! Also he would look up at me every couple minutes(half asleep) and he would grab my face with both his hands and kiss my lips, it was very cute! This picture is a example of how big he is getting, he does things like this on purpose now to make us laugh!

Play, Play, Play all day long!

The other day Wes wanted to play with this little wind up train all day long! He doesn't know how to wind it up by himself so he kept coming up to me and saying "Mommy" and then saying please in sign language. It was so sweet, Wes and I sat on the ground and played with that silly little train for an entire hour! I love to see his little imagination work, anytime he plays with something with wheels he makes a car noise and wants it to go as fast as it can! It is so amazing that little boys are born with such a love for cars, dirt, action figures and pretty much anything they can throw! I am so grateful to have Wes fill my days with fun and laughter, oh and lots of toys to clean up!

Happy Late Birthday Stacey!

So My sister Stacey's Birthday was on the 16th but we celebrated it with all the girls on Friday night. It was sooo much fun to have a girls night! We went to B.J's for dinner and then we went and saw the movie 27 Dresses. My best friend Courtney came out for the celebration and it was great to see her because she lives in Scottsdale and we don't get to see each other very much. Dinner was a blast, we laughed so hard and so loud! I felt kinda bad for the waiter because I think he was annoyed with all us silly girls! The movie was also so much fun, we got there early and were able to talk before it started. By the way that movie is hilarious! I would highly recommend it for a girls night movie though because I know Eric would have been making fun of it the whole time! Well thanks Stacey for turning 29( I know she looks amazing) and for having a awesome Birthday night with the girls! Thanks to Donny for letting her out of the house, I know you didn't want to because she looked so cute!

Boys and Their Toys!

Christmas with Wes was sooo much fun! He was so excited to get his outside Club House from Santa! He would have played on it all day if he could have! We spent a majority of the day hanging out and went over to Gram and Pappas for a little while. It was nice to not have such a crazy day. The next day Eric's sister Cindy and her family came out to visit from Colorado. We had a wonderful time with them and are so sad they live so far! Wes really enjoyed being able to play with all the kids and was so happy to have help messing up Gram and Pappas house! One night when they were here we went down to the motorcross race track and Paul (Cindy's husband) rode Eric's dirt bike and was really good at it! Of course that made Eric want to really get into riding his dirt bike at the track. I am sure we will be down at the track every Tuesday night and Saturday morning now, thanks a lot Paul!(J/K) We hope everyone had a great Christmas and is enjoying their New Year!
